Nookies Too

the lowdown:

one of their specials...stuffed french toasty goodness.

    • ★★★ solid, neighborhood go-to
    • $$ (~$15 a plate)
    • casual
    • good for groups
    • BYOB
    • neighborhood: lincoln park, lakeview, old town

byob! put your name in and walk next door to pick up some champagne for mimosas! they have delicious orange juice, but beware – carafes are as expensive as a meal.

it’s a typical diner, but always delivers and meets expectations. great food, and good tweaks to some classics. the service is always great to – they’re fun and quick – and very willing to change and mix up your orders.

skillets!

the paris benedict

i encourage trying their specials, they usually have some sweet pancakes you can mix up for a ‘flight’. as for savory – they have a special benedict usually, or their dixie one is good too. for hangovers, they have great hearty meals 😉 coffee is always good and people are always delighted and content after a nookies trip!
