NYC: Chili Thai

a great lunch spot.

the lowdown:

    • ★★★★ what a local thai spot should be.
    • $ (~$10/dish)
    • casual, BYOB
    • good for groups
    • go for lunch
    • neighborhood: hell’s kitchen, midtown west

i actually really enjoyed this hole in the wall. reminded me of chicago, little bitty neighborhood spots that serve fresh, delicious food.

lunch specials come with so much food! appetizers beforehand (though not that great) and a generous helping of any dish you choose. pad see ew is the way to go, though everything else was good too!

this is everything a thai spot should be, local, fresh, spicy, cheap, byob.
